It’s back — and bigger than ever. The Black Friday ACE Tournament is THE PLACE TO BE the day after Thanksgiving! Grab your squad, dust off your best 6’s lineup (minimum 2 ladies per team), and get ready for one of Phoenix Beach Volleyball’s most iconic events of the year.
📍 Check-in: 11:30AM
🏐 First Serve: 12PM
💰 Entry: $240 per team of 6 — includes 2 buckets of (6) adult beverages!
👕 Format: 3 pool-play games to 25 (win by 2, no cap), followed by a double-elimination bracket

😈 What’s “ACE”?
It’s volleyball… with a little chaos mixed in.
An ACE is when a team scores a point without the opponent getting a touch. In the OG ACE format, that meant leaving the court and drinking. This year, we’re dialing it in — same laughs, slightly fewer hangovers.
⚡ The Rules (a.k.a. “Guidelines for Mayhem”):
- 🍻 Drinking is optional. We’re here to have fun, not make bad decisions. Be smart.
- ✊ ACE’d? Time for Rock / Paper / Scissors!
- Scoring team must win twice to keep the ball.
- The ACE’d team wins once to take possession.
- 🤜 One rep from each team steps up to battle in RPS.
- Lose the round? Everyone exits the court.
- Those choosing to drink may do so, but beware — if your team isn’t ready and someone steps on early, the serving team can instantly serve.
- 🔁 Teams must rotate. Back-row attacks are fair game.
- 🕸️ Safety first. Minor net brushes are fine — full-arm tangles are not.
- 🧱 Blocking serves = LEGAL.
- Lifts = LEGAL.
- Doubles = LEGAL.
- Diving throws = LEGAL.
Basically: Keep the ball alive and keep it entertaining.
