DESCRIPTION:🖤 6th Annual Black Friday ACE 🖤 \nIt’s back — and bigger than ever. The Black Friday ACE Tournament is THE PLACE TO BE the day after Thanksgiving! Grab your squad\, dust off your best 6’s lineup (minimum 2 ladies per team)\, and get ready for one of Phoenix Beach Volleyball’s most iconic events of the year. \n📍 Check-in: 11:30AM \n🏐 First Serve: 12PM \n💰 Entry: $240 per team of 6 — includes 2 buckets of (6) adult beverages! \n👕 Format: 3 pool-play games to 25 (win by 2\, no cap)\, followed by a double-elimination bracket \n🧢 Sign-up Options: Full team • Partial team • Free agents welcome \n🏆 Prizes: \n\n1st Place: Custom Black Friday ACE Champion Hoodies + AVP OPTX Ball or Backpack or Slunks (based on availability)\n2nd Place: Black Friday ACE Hoodies\n\n😈 What’s “ACE”? \nIt’s volleyball… with a little chaos mixed in. \nAn ACE is when a team scores a point without the opponent getting a touch. In the OG ACE format\, that meant leaving the court and drinking. This year\, we’re dialing it in — same laughs\, slightly fewer hangovers. \n⚡ The Rules (a.k.a. “Guidelines for Mayhem”): \n\n🍻 Drinking is optional. We’re here to have fun\, not make bad decisions. Be smart.\n✊ ACE’d? Time for Rock / Paper / Scissors!\n\nScoring team must win twice to keep the ball.\nThe ACE’d team wins once to take possession.\n\n\n\n🤜 One rep from each team steps up to battle in RPS.\n\nLose the round? Everyone exits the court.\nThose choosing to drink may do so\, but beware — if your team isn’t ready and someone steps on early\, the serving team can instantly serve.\n\n\n\n🔁 Teams must rotate. Back-row attacks are fair game.\n🕸️ Safety first. Minor net brushes are fine — full-arm tangles are not.\n🧱 Blocking serves = LEGAL.\n\nLifts = LEGAL.\nDoubles = LEGAL.\nDiving throws = LEGAL.\nBasically: Keep the ball alive and keep it entertaining.\n\n\n\n🏐 Have fun\, stay safe\, and remember: this day is all about the community\, the chaos\, and the volleyball we love.\n\n🔥 Buckets come from a pre-set list — so choose wisely. \nGet your team together early… because this one fills fast. \nBlack Friday.
