SUMMARY:St. Patties Day Rec/C Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Hey everyone\, this is our inaugural Sixes* Rec/C level St. Patricks Day tournament!! This one is going to be a LOT of fun! Green beer will be flowing\, music will be playing and we will all be having an awesome time in the sand! This tournament is going to follow one of my most fun and favorite formats called ACE! The rules for ACE are very similar to the rules you already play with a few little twists! First\, you CAN BLOCK SERVES!! How cool is that? It will make you think about your serving strategies! Secondly\, if the ball touches inside the court without any person on the team making a touch on the ball before it hits the sand\, the team that got scored on must exit the court and take a drink of their preferred beverage *does not have to be alcohol*. Minor Net violations are not called. Lets keep it safe and don’t bring your full arms down on the net\, but if you happen to touch the net and it doesn’t affect the play\, keep on playing. Also\, open hand tips and back row attacks from anywhere on the court ARE ALLOWED! \nPut your full or partial teams together or sign up as an individual and be placed on a team! Spots for this event are limited\, so when registering a team\, put how many players you will have next to your name when registering. If you do not want to play with 6 players\, let me know. Thank you! \nRegistration fees are $25 per player\, payable via the following options:\nVenmo @phoenixbeachvb\nCashApp $phoenixbeachvb\nZelle 480-249-2242\nCash \nCheck in for this event is 5pm\, play beginning at 530. Should wrap up by 1030-11pm! \nPool play will consist of 3 pool play games to 21\, capped at 23. Sign up asap to get in!
